Kate and I met in New York, far from our hometown of Canterbury! She and her partner Aaron will be getting married at the beautiful Mount Ephraim Gardens next year, and I was thrilled to be asked to photograph their wedding. Recently we spent a sunny afternoon touring the grounds and trying Mount Ephraim's delicious cherries. I loved hearing all about their plans for the day, meeting the family, and of course photographing their mini engagement session. Kate and Aaron, thank you so much for a lovely afternoon - I can't wait for the real thing!Read More

I am so overjoyed that fate took me back to California just in time to see my two favourite siblings finish school. Yauss graduated cum laude, and is off to Chapman University in the fall. It was such a pleasure to photograph her (and her goofball of a big brother, now alum of the University of California, Davis) after the ceremony. Congrats Yauss, thanks for letting me share the day with you!Read More

They illustrate the life of a remarkable woman whose features – her dark eyes, her inclination to mischief – I see reflected in my cousins, my sister, and my mother, every day.Read More
