It was one of the hottest days of the year, but Klare and Adam proved that weddings are sometime best served chilled. Tipis, ice creams, and backyard fun were the order of the day in this relaxed and intimate celebration at home in Norfolk.
Guests gathered at the new Norfolk Registration Office, now found under the grand battlements of Norwich Castle, for a sweet and simple ceremony. Husband and wife hopped into their getaway car - a charming little Ford Zephyr -and headed home with friends and family in tow. Their cottage garden was transformed into a festival party, the perfect setting for a summer afternoon. Guests enjoyed the tipsy tipi bar before trying their skills on a rodeo bull. (Flower girl Amelia beat the groom's time by a streak...) Bride and groom provided lollies on the house from their very own ice cream van, and a live band lit up the "pyramid stage". Topping off the celebration? Dancing, drinks, and a delicious hog roast.
Klare and Adam, thanks for sharing your day with me. I had a ton of fun, and I know your guests did too. Here's to your lifetime of love and laughter!
