Gabriel and Javier couldn't have their families by their side on their wedding day, so I was thrilled to volunteer my camera at short notice for their intimate celebration at San Francisco City Hall.
I joined their small band of international friends for the ceremony in the city, before we headed over to Dolores Park for a champagne picnic with a view. Photographing such a small but precious moment, surrounded by friends and in front of a statue of Harvey Milk, was very special.
